Central Industrial Security Force
CISF has the largest contingent of women personnel among the Central Armed Police Forces, serving with distinction across airports, the Delhi Metro, VIP security and critical national installations.
Women form an integral and growing part of the Central Industrial Security Force. From frontline access control at the nation’s busiest airports to passenger screening on the Delhi Metro and protection of heritage monuments, women personnel discharge the full range of operational duties alongside their male counterparts. CISF is proud to field the largest number of women among the Central Armed Police Forces, reflecting its commitment to a diverse and inclusive Force.
Women officers and personnel serve across ranks and functions — in combat and quick-reaction teams, in fire and disaster response, in intelligence and investigation, in training institutions and in administration — demonstrating professionalism, courage and dedication in every role they take on.
A workplace free from harassment, with robust grievance redressal mechanisms including the SHe-Box portal.
Women are entrusted with the same operational responsibilities, training and recognition as all personnel.
The detailed CISF Women Power publication is available as a document.
